2.5 kg heroin seized in Comilla

COMILLA, Mar 22 (UNB): Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) seized 2.5 kg of heroin at Nowapara under Chouddagram Upazila Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of 33 Rifles Battalion chased a group of drug smugglers at the village at about 12:15am.
At one stage, the thugs fled the scene leaving behind the heroin.
