25-man preliminary squad announced

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Wednesday announced a 25-member preliminary squad for the AFC Challenge Cup, which includes six new faces, reports UNB.
The AFC Challenge Cup will begin on April 26 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
The six new faces in the squad are Nasir (Mohammedan), Rashed (U-20-BKSP/Badda), Mamun Mia (Farashganj SC), Manik (BKSP), Emon Babu (U-20-Farashganj SC) and Mithun (U-23-Chittagong Abahani).
The selected players have been asked to report to head coach Edson Silva Dido on March 28 at 11 am at the BFF Bhaban.
Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Macao/Mongolia will take part in the meet. Bangladesh will play their opening match on April 26, the 2nd match on April 28, and the 3rd and last match on April 30.
Assistant coach Shafiqul Islam Manik, and NTMC members Golam Rabbani Helal and Hasanuzzaman Khan Babu were present.
Preliminary squad: Aminul, Himel, Nasir, Rajoni, Saikat, Arman Aziz, Sharif and Robin (Dhaka Mohammedan); Biplob, Wali Faisal, Sujan, Pranotosh, Zahid Pervez, Mamun, Emily (Dhaka Abahani); Arif, Mishu, Zahid Hossain, Munna (Brothers Union); Mamun Mia, Emon Baby (U-20) and Enamul (Farashganj); Rashed, Manik, (BKSP); Mithun U-23 (Ctg Abahani).
