2,566 disabled persons get allowances

CHUADANGA, July 15 (BSS): A total of 2,566 insolvent disabled persons of the district got monthly allowances. The Social Service Department distributed around Tk 10.7 million (Tk 1.07 crore) of the disabled persons of four upazilas of the district.
Of the total amount, Tk 22,72,200 was distributed among the 541 insolvent disabled persons of Chuadanga Sadar upazila, Tk 33,1,200 distributed among the 786 persons of Alamdanga upazila, Tk 27,34,200 distributed among the 651 persons of Damurhuda upazila, Tk 17,64,000 distributed among the 420 persons of Jibannagar upazila and Tk 7,56,000 was distributed among the 168 insolvent disabled persons of Chuadanga pourashava.
