2.5m students to appear this year

About 2.50 million students of Class-V will appear in the Shamapony Examinations (Centre Examinations) and Ebtedaee from November 23 in the country, reports BSS.
Ministry of Primary and Mass Education sources said all is set for holding the examinations with a target for ensuring quality education for all.
The exams will be held on November 23, 24, 25, 27, 28 and 29. The results will be published on December and the students will be provided with primary pass certificates in the same month.
A total of 24,88,108 students, including 21,57,015 in Shamapony, 3,31,133 in Ebtedaee and 4,049 in English medium, will appear in their examinations.
Of them, 11,61,859 are male and 13,23,289 female and 1,078 physically challenged students.
Besides, 4,049 students will appear in the examinations from English medium schools. Scholarship will be given to brilliant students.
Steps have been taken to increase primary scholarship from 50,000 to 75,000 students this year, the sources said.
High official sources said same question papers would be supplied to all the students in the Centre Exams that will be held at 6,000 Centres in the country and abroad under the government supervision.
The primary and mass education minister and the state minister will make visits to centres of the districts.
At present, 11 types of primary education are in the country including government, non-government, Ebtedaee, kindergarten, non-formal, community, satellite and others.
