26 companies take part in RUCC job fair

RAJSHAHI, Feb 28: A two-day long job fair began on the premises of Sheikh Russel School at Rajshahi University (RU) on Wednesday.
The Rajshahi University Career Club (RUCC) arranged the fair.
RU Pro-VC Prof Ananda Kumar Saha inaugurated the fair at a function.
RUCC advisor Prof Shah Azam Shantonu and former RU student advisor Prof Sadequl Arefin spoke at the inaugural ceremony. Organising secretary of RUCC Abu Raihan was present on the occasion.
A total of 26 companies including Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh Ltd., BRAC, Pran-RFL Group, Arla Food Bangladesh Ltd., bKash, Prime Islamic Securities Ltd., AFC Capital Limited, Nabil Group and ACCA Intern BD are taking part in the fair.
The Financial Express, Bonik Barta and Daily Kalerkantha are the media partners of the event.
It is an opportunity for the students of RU and others educational institutions as they can drop their CVs against the positions offered by the participating companies. The authorities of the companies will take viva-voice and appoints primarily the interested students on Thursday after the scrutinisation process, organisers said.
Some 11 seminars were held on the first day of the fair at the university's dean complex where human resources experts of different organisations took part as resource persons.
The fair will conclude tomorrow (Thursday).
