26 people arrested in Benapole while returning from India

BENAPOLE, May 14 (UNB) : BGB members arrested 26 people including 7 women and 2 children while they were returning home from India at Boro Achra and Sadipur border areas Saturday early morning. The arrestees were identified as Alpona Begum (18), Shahida Khatun (17), Rafija Begum (18), Kobita Begum (20), Rohima Khatun (16), Fatema Begum (21), Hasina Khatun(19), Yasin Sarder (25), Miran Sheikh (30), Rafiq Sheikh (35), Russell Mondol (38), Agakhan (40), Habib Sheikh (35), Humayun (5), Kabir (8), Mitul Sheikh (29), Golam Hossain (37), Rabbani (30), Selim Hossain (36), Halim (28), Faruk Hossain (27), Ataur Rahman (33), Khwaza Mollah (28), Shafiqul Alam (24), Habibur (34), and Shariful Islam (29). They hailed from different areas of Jessore, Khulna, Barisal and Narail districts. BGB sources said on secret information they raided the border areas and arrested them The arrestees were handed over to Port thana police.
