26 rescued while being trafficked to India

BENAPOLE, Feb 17 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive rescued 26 people, including 11 women and three children, while they were being trafficked to India through Sadipur border point here early Tuesday.
"Tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a drive in the area early in the morning and rescued the 26 people," said Subedar Ayub Ali of Benapole check-post ICP camp of BGB.
However, the human traffickers managed to flee.
