27 Shibir men sued at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, May 27: Two separate cases were filed against twenty-seven leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit, including its president Asaful Alam Emon, for alleged involvement in the attack on cops and use of explosive devices.
Earlier Sunday, the Shibir cadres attacked on cops that left three police men injured while they were going to arrest ICS RU unit sports secretary Afzal Hossain Faisal and its activist Babu.
Later, police  arrested Afzal and Babu with five cocktails.
Alamgir Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Motihar thana, informed that police sub-inspector (SI) Sirajul Islam filed two separate cases against them.
 Afzal and Babu were shown arrested in these cases, the OC also said.
