28 injured in roof collapse in city

At least 28 people were injured, seven of them critically, as the roof of an under construction mosque collapsed in city's Uttara area Wednesday noon. Police and witnesses said the roof of Park Jam-e-Masque at sector 4 suddenly collapsed at 12 noon when the construction workers were moulding it, leaving 28 people injured. On information, the police rushed to the spot and rescued the victims. — UNB
