29 BD apparel, leather makers to take part in Paris fair

A total of 29 Bangladeshi apparel, fabric and leather manufacturers will participate in a four-day fair scheduled to begin in Paris on February 11.
Messe Frankfurt has organised the fair which will comprise three shows namely Texworld, Apparel Sourcing and Leatherworld Paris.
A wide range of fashion products from the major manufacturing countries, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, China, Cambodia, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey will be showcased in the fair, the organiser said in a statement.
A national pavilion of Bangladesh will be set up at the fair by the Export Promotion Bureau.
The Leatherworld Paris will be held for the second time in February 2019. Tannery and finished leather goods will be exhibited at the event.
The products will range from leather garments to accessories such as bags, shoes and other fashion items.
During the last edition of the exhibition February last, a total of 1,093 exhibitors and 13,579 visitors from 110 countries participated at Texworld/Apparel Sourcing.
A large number of buyers from UK, France, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany and visitor come from all over Europe joined that event.
The local fabric makers participating in the show are Akij Textile, Experience Textile, Momtex Expo, Silver Composite, Zaber & Zubair Fabrics.
Aaron Denim, Argon Denims, Chittagong Denim Mills, Evince Textiles, NZ Textiles and Nice Denim will show their products under the denim category.
The rest apparel companies are Adams Apparels, Ama Syntex, Banga Garments, Blue Planet Knitwear, Delphitex Industries/Redwan Tex & Apparels, Euro Knitwear, Fabrica Knit Composite, Green Smart Shirts, Hellenic Sourcing Hong Kong/Hellenic Group, Marss Style & Fashion, Monira Knit Apparels, Pacific Export, Prudent International, Simura Non Wovens/Simura Group, Silver Composite Textile Mills, Team Sourcing, Texpeon and Toads Printing.
