29,000 Yaba seized in city: 1 arrested

Police have recovered 29,000 pieces of Yaba tablets in Sutrapur area in Dhaka city. They also arrested a man in this connection. Sabbir Hossian, 26, was held while he was going to Shyambazar with smuggled Yaba pills by a motorbike. Police also seized his motorbike from in front of Farashganj Bibika Mazaar, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Deputy Commissioner (Wari Zone) Syed Nurul Islam. The police official said this at a media briefing at the DMP media center around 11:30am on Friday, according to a news agency.
