2nd Knit Workers' Festival in N'ganj today

A daylong Second Knit Workers' Festival-2009 will be held at Osmani Stadium in Narayanganj today (Friday), reports UNB.
State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haq Tuku will inaugurate the festival, to be organized by Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA).
LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, and Labour and Employment Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain are expected to attend the closing ceremony.
A total of 45 events, including traditional cultural shows and concerts, will be held on the occasion.
