2nd National Language Festival starts Thursday

The 2nd National Language Festival will be held at Bangla Academy in the capital from September 17 to 19 to encourage the new generation in practicing standard Bangla language.
Bangla Academy with cooperation of Dhaka Residential Model College and My Academy will organized the fair, a BSS report said.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will inaugurate the festival as the chief guest at 10 am on September 17at Abdul Karim Sahittyabisharad Auditorium of the academy.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will be present as special guest while Bangla Academy President Emeritus Professor Anisuzzaman to chair.
Director General of Bangla Academy Professor Shamsuzzaman Khan and Principal of Dhaka Residential Model College Brigadier General M Asaduzzaman Subhani will give welcome speech.
