3 arrested: Arms, ammo recovered

Police in separate drives arrested three people along with two pistols, some bullets and one knife from different places in Bogra and Rajbari districts on Sunday. In Bogra, two young men along with one pistol and one knife were arrested from Matidali area of the district town in the afternoon. The arrestees were identified as Hasan, 21, son of Bablu Sheikh, and Sohag, 22, son of Mostafizur Rahman of Uttarpara Matidali. The arrestees were wanted by police in different cases. In Rajbari, police arrested a man named Abdul Hamid, 45, son of Amir Ali of Kamlapur village of Kushtia district, along with one pistol and several rounds of bullet from Daulatdia bus terminal in Goalanda upazila of the district. A case was filed against him under the Arms Act, according to UNB.
