3 Bangladeshi hurt in BSF firing

Three Bangladeshi nationals suffered bullet wounds in firing by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Thakurgaon and Satkhira Sunday and Saturday evening. In Thakurgaon, two Bangladeshi nationals were shot by the BSF members along Beurjhari border in Baliadangi upazila early Sunday.
The victims were identified as Ramijuddin, 35, son of Tasiruddin, and Sadequl, 40, son of Alimul of Charaigati village in the upazila, according to a news agency.
 Major Touhid Hossain of Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion-30 said the BSF members from Borobillah camp opened fire on Ramijuddin and Sadequl when they went to the bordering area for bringing cattle in the early hours, leaving them injured. They were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
 In Satkhira, a Bangladeshi national sustained bullet injuries when a group of BSF members shot him at Madra border in Kalaroa upazila Saturday.
 The victim was identified as Iqbal Hossain, 25, son of Ershad Ali of Madra village in the upazila.
