3 Bangladeshis return after serving in Indian jail

Three Bangladeshi teenagers including a girl returned home through Putkhali border on Monday after serving 1 year in an Indian jail. Border Security Force (BSF) men handed them over to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel at night. They hail from different districts of Barisal division. Police of India's West bengal state held them in Kolkata for doing job there illegally, said Shamsur Rahman, of BGB 23 Battalion Putkhali camp. Afterwards, they were sent to Kolkata central jail where they were awarded 1 year jail term. The BSF handed over them to BGB around 10pm on Monday, according to a news agency.
