3 bikers die in road accident

Three motorcyclists were killed as a truck hit their bike in Netrakona Sadar upazila on Thursday evening. The deceased were identified as Sunny, 25, Ripon, 25, and Shiblu, 27, of Katla area of Sadar Upazila. Witnesses said the Mymensingh-bound goods-laden truck crashed into the bike coming from the opposite direction around 7:30pm near BRTC Bus Stand on Netrakona-Dhaka highway. Among the three bikers, Sunny died on the spot while Ripon and Shiblu received grievous injuries in the accident. Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. A few minutes later, Ripon and Shiblu died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital, according to a news agency.
