3 bodies found in Shitalakkha

Three decomposed corpses were seen floating on Shitalakkha River in Bandar area of Narayanganj district. The identities of the dead could not be ascertained immediately. Police have been able to salvage one of the corpses, Port Police OC Aktar Morshed said on Wednesday. “Three bodies were recovered from Shitalakkha River in Kolagachhi,” he said, adding “The bodies are yet to be identified.” Locals in Kolagachhi called the authorities after seeing the bodies around 3pm. Seven people, including city corporation councillor Nazrul Islam, were kidnapped in Narayanganj on Sunday, according to a news agency.
