3 boys rescued while being trafficked to India

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel have rescued three minor boys at Bholahat upazila in Chapainawabganj district while they were being trafficked to India. The victims were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 13, son of Mosharraf of Poladanga village, Minhazul Islam, 12, son of Abdus Sukkur, and Nayeem, 12, son of Abdul Kader of the upazila. BGB members also detained an alleged trafficker, Abdur Rashid, 30. Lt Col Mujibul Haque Shikdar, commanding officer of BGB-43 battalion, said local people detained Abdur Rashid while he along with the three boys was trying to cross Poladanga border on Saturday. They handed over the human trafficker and the boys to the BGB, according to UNB.
