3 children drown in Fultala

KHULNA, Sept 8: Three children, two of a family, drowned in separate incidents in Fultala Upazila of the district Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Razibul (6), son of Rezaul Molla and Farhad Molla (4), son of Shahin Molla of village Dhakuria of Fultala Upazila and Shohan Kazi (7), son of Sentu Kazi of village Tazpur area of the Upazila.
Razibul and Farhad drowned in a pond adjacent to their house while playing on the bank of the pond. They were recovered from the pond and sent to hospital where on-duty doctors declared them dead.
Meanwhile, Shohan Kazi drowned in Bhairab River while he went to take bath with his father. He was taken to hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
