3 construction workers electrocuted

Ay least three construction workers have been electrocuted in Ashulia Model town under Savar Upazila in Dhaka district. The dead are Md Hashem, 33, and Anwar, 35, hailed from Mymensingh district, and Mamtaj, 32, a resident of Mughda area of Dhaka city. Locals said 6 workers including the three were working on a billboard on Wednesday afternoon. At one statge, they came in contact with a live electric wire from a power pole nearby. Four of the injured were rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared the three dead. Another worker who was also critically injured was undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to a news agency.
