3 cops among 4 hurt in Sirajganj road accident

Four people, including three policemen, were injured in a collision between a truck and a police vehicle on the Sirajganj-Kazipur Road in Sadar upazila of Sirajganj district on Saturday night. The injured were identified as Sub-inspector Subhash Saha, constables— Raihan and Hasanuzzaman-- of Sirajganj Police Station and driver Sathi. Habibul Islam, officer-in-charge of the police station, said the accident took place as the police vehicle collided with the truck near Rahmatganj Kather Pool area around 9:30pm, leaving the four injured. The injured were admitted to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital. Police seized the truck but the driver fled away, added the OC, according to a news agency.
