3-day BD-RED housing fair starts in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Nov 13: BD-RED (Bangladesh Real Estate Directory) has been working for development of the real estate industry, and playing an important role in taking it to the doorsteps of Chittagong people, said the CCC mayor.
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor M Manjur Alam said this while formally opening the three-day 12th BD-RED Chittagong Housing Fair on Thursday evening.
The fair has started with the slogan - 'Let us keep our environment clean and healthy'. The organizers have also arranged roundtables, rally, children's drawing competition and online campaign on the occasion.
The mayor said the people of Chittagong have been drawing benefits from the BD-RED Housing Fair for the last 12 years. Most of the clients, who have booked their flats and plots with the BD-RED real estate developers, have received their assets.
BD-RED chief executive Yasin Khan said they have been working relentlessly for developing the housing industry as well as beautifying Chittagong since 2002.
"Despite successes and failures we have continued our efforts to build Chittagong as a beautiful city. BD-RED has also contributed to shaping up the port-city into a modern city," he added.
Event partner of the fair is Bashudha Builders Ltd, media partner Bangla Vision and Radio Today, food partner Adda Restaurant, and Beverage Partner Pran Drinking Water.
