3-day Lalon Fair begins in Kushtia

Kushtia, Oct 16 (UNB) : A three day Lalon Fair, marking the 118th death anniversary of mystic singer Lalon Fakir, began at his hermitage at Seuria in Sadar Upazila Thursday.
Cabinet Secretary Ali Imam Majumder inaugurated the fair.
Discussion and cultural programme will be held. Different shops were also set up in the fair organized by local administration.
The authorities took tough security measures to maintain law and order in the fair.
