3-day laptop fair starts in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 6: The three-day sixth Chittagong Laptop Fair started in the port-city Thursday with a call to 'light up the technological light'.
Maker Communication has organised the fair at the Chittagong Gymnasium, adjacent to MA Aziz Stadium.
City Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury inaugurated the fair by lighting candles. Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Abu Yusuf addressed the inauguration ceremony as the special guest.
Grameenphone is the main sponsor of the fair, while Asus, HP, Lenovo and Samsung are co-sponsors, and Intel is the technology sponsor.
Brand new laptops of renowned brands such as HP, Compaq, Samsung, Dell, Apple, Fujitsu, Hasee, Gigabyte, Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba, Acer, MSI and BenQ, with prices ranging from Tk 25,000 to Tk 1,00,000, have been displayed at the fair.
