3 die in clash over train tickets

A fracas among holidaymakers over purchasing train tickets turned deadly on Friday at Natore’s Lalpur. The clash left at least 3 persons dead and ten others injured. The clash erupted at Iswardi Bypass Railway Station around 9:30am on Friday, said Lalpur Police Station OC Abdul Hye Talukdar. ‘We have rushed a force to control the situation after hearing of the clash from the government railway police (GRP),’ Talukder said. Iswardi’s health complex official Momin Uddin confirmed the death of three people in this clash. However, their identity could not be known immediately, according to bdnews24.com.
