3 die in Sunamganj accident

Three pedestrians including two minors were killed in Sunamganj after a car ran over them on Wednesday. Superintendent of Police (SP) Harunur Rashid said the accident happened around 9:30 am at Chhatak Upazila on the Sunamganj-Sylhet highway. The victims are Ayatun Nesa, 35, her daughter Sumina Begum, 4 and nephew ‘Reaz’, 7, hailing from Jatuya village of Dakshin Kurma Union. Quoting witnesses, SP Rashid said that a Sylhet bound car ran over the three killing them on the spot, according to bdnews24.com.
