3 drown in Bhola

Three minors drowned in separate incidents at Tojumiddin Upazila of Bhola district on the Eid day. The deceased were identified as Tania Rahman, 3, daughter of Md Zohir of Darichandpur village of the Upazila, Shakila, 5, daughter of Alauddin, and Shakila’s cousin Zisan Khan, son of Abbas Uddin of Panchayetkandi village. Tania was playing on the yard of their house at Darichandpur village under Chandpur Union Parishad on Tuesday afternoon. At one stage, she went missing. Family members recover the floating body from the adjacent pond. Shakila and her cousin Zisan were playing beside a pond of a mosque, adjacent to their house at Panchayet Kandi village under the same UP on Tuesday. At one stage, they fell down in the pond and drowned. Locals recovered the bodies from the pond, according to a news agency.
