3 held with 42kg hemp in Faridpur

Police arrested three alleged drug traders at Boalmari Upazila in Faridpur district on Friday. Police also seized a private car and recovered 42 kilogram of hemp from them. The arrested were identified as Azad Kazi, 22, son of Ismail Kazi, a resident of Matiara village of Comilla Sadar Upazila, Zamal, 35, son of Chan Miah, a resident of Julai village and Sumon, son of Delwar Hossain, a resident of Gandachi village of Chauddagram Upazila of Comilla district. Being tipped off, a police team conducted a drive in Kamargram Akhra area and arrested them along with 42kg hemp. A private car (No- Dhaka Metro Ga- 15-3485) was also seized from their possession, according to a news agency.
