3 held with Phensidyl in Panchagarh

Police arrested three people along with 100 bottles of Phensidyl from Satkhamar Bus Stand of Atwari Upazila in Panchagarh district on Monday night. The arrestees were identified as Amirul Islam, 27, his wife Ankhi Akhter Ankhi, 24, of Seprajhar village and Ziarul Islam, 33, son of Sharifuddin of the same village. Police said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the bus stand area around 07:15pm and arrested the three along with the Phensidyl while they were preparing to go to Dhaka with the drugs by a night coach. Officer-in-charge of Atwari Police Station AKM Enamul Karim confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
