3 Huji men put on 2-day remand

A Dhaka court put on Sunday three suspected members of banned militant outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Huji) on a 2-day remand each in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, reports UNB.
They are Md Abdullah, Md Redwan and Md Mufiqul Islam Ripon. Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Mollah Saiful Islam passed the order when Detective Branch of Police (DB) SI SM Raisul Islam produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each. Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested the trio from the city's Postogola area on Saturday night.
