3 human traffickers killed in Cox\\\'s Bazar \\\'gunfight\\\'

COX'S BAZAR, May 8: Three suspected human traffickers were killed in a 'gunfight' with police in a shrimp enclosure in Teknaf Upazila early Friday. The deceased were identified as Dhalu Hossain, 55, of Shah Parir Dwip village, Jafar Alam, 35, of Hariakali village, and Jahangir Alam, 30, of Katabania village under Sabrang union of the Upazila. Dhalu, Jafar and Jahangir were caught in the line of fire and sustained bullet injuries. Later, they were rushed to Teknaf Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared them dead. Four policemen, including the OC, were injured during the gunfight, said police.
