3 jailed for violating election code

A mobile court sentenced three women to 3-7 days imprisonment on charges of violating the election code of conduct in the city's Kamrangichar thana area on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kamrangichar thana Mohsin Alam said three women --Setara Begum, Shilpi Begum and Hosne Ara --were violating the code of conduct in favour of BNP supported ward no-56 councilor candidate Nayeem at Mojiburghat of Borogram at noon.
