3 JMB men, who made jailbreak bid, sent to Dhaka jail

COMILLA, Nov 30 (UNB): Three JMB activists out of five who made an attempt to escape from the district jail Sunday night were sent to Dhaka Central Jail Friday morning for security reason.
Jail authority said Nabil Rahman, the detained son of JMB's executed chief Shaikh Abdur Rahman, Shamim and Redwan were sent to Dhaka Central Jail by a microbus at 10am under tight security.
Five JMB activists-Nabil Rahman, Shamim, Redwan, Rongil and Minhaj-made an attempt to escape from the district jail on November 25. But the locals and the jail police chased and caught them shortly after the jailbreak.
The five activists of the banned Islamist outfit sustained injuries during the attempt to flee from jail.
Of them, Nabil, Shamim and Redwan were first admitted to the Comilla Medical College Hospital and then sent to district jail while Rongil and Minhaj were shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
