3 kids drown

Three children, including two siblings, have drowned in a pond at Kuakata under Kolapara in Patuakhali. The dead are Fahima, 5, and her cousins Rumi, 7, and Habib, 5. They were playing beside the pond at Khajura Orka village and drowned around 7pm. Later, local people recovered the bodies from the pond around 9pm. Sanjay Mandal, officer-in-charge of Kuakata marine police camp confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
