3 killed, 2 injured in Khulna crash

At least three people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Arang Ghata area in Khulna city Thursday. Identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately. Locals said the three unidentified people died in a head-on collision between a truck and minibus at Mostafa intersection under Arang Ghata police station in the morning. Witnesses said the truck coming from opposite direction collided head-on with the Rupsha-bound minibus at about 9:30am, leaving two dead on the spot and injuring three others. The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital where one of them died, local people and hospital sources said, according to a news agency.
