3 killed, 35 hurt in Comilla road accident

COMILLA, Apr 17: At least three people were killed and 35 others injured when a bridal party bus overturned at Syedpur in Chouddagram Upazila on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway Friday morning. The police said the accident took place at about 10:30am when the Chittagong-bound bus from Burichang turned turtle on the highway as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving three people, including two women, dead on the spot. The injured were rushed to the Comilla Medical College Hospital and Chouddagram health complex. — UNB
