3 killed in Barisal road accident

BARISAL, Jul 25 (UNB): At least three people, including an unidentified minor girl, were killed and eight others injured in a road accident at Bejohar on the Dhaka-Barisal highway in Gouranadi upazila on Thursday. Two of the deceased were identified as Kalam and Dhiren.
Witnesses said a Barisal-bound human hauler from Gouranadi collided head-on with a truck around 9:30 am, killing Dhiren on the spot and injuring 10 others.
Of the injured, two people-an unidentified minor girl and Kalam- succumbed to their injuries on the way while being rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH).
