3 killed in Jatrabari road accident

At least three people were killed in a road accident in Jatrabari in the city on Thursday. Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Locals said a recklessly-driven covered van rammed a rickshaw van, leaving an unspecified number of passengers of the rickshaw van injured in Kutubkhali around 10:30am. Police and locals said three of them were critically injured. The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared two of them dead. Later around 11:15am, another injured man succumbed to his injuries, according to private TV channels.
