3 killed in Jessore road crash

At least three people were killed when a bus rammed a human hauler at Dakshin Srirampur under Bagharpara upazila in Jessore on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Gafur, 15, son of Sirajul Islam, Rubel, 16, son of Abdul Majed and Habibur, 20, driver of the human hauler and son of Sundar Ali. All the victims hailed from Dakshin Srirampur village. Police said the accident took place around 12:30 pm when a Jessore-bound bus hit a human hauler while going to Tarabhita Bazar, leaving driver Habibur and the two passengers dead on the spot. Police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital for post-mortem, according to UNB.
