3 killed in Mirsharai, Savar road crashes

Three people were killed and eight others injured in separate road crashes in Mirsharai Upazila of Chittagong and Savar Upazila of Dhaka on Friday afternoon. In Mirsharai, a collision between a covered van and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Sufia Road left two unidentified people dead on the spot and 7 others injured. The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. In Savar, a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Village Line Paribahan’ rammed a three-wheeler on Dhaka-Aricha highway in front of Kohinoor Spinning Mills in Nayarhat area of Ashulia, leaving a man dead on the spot and injuring another. The deceased was identified as Salam Khan, 28, son of Nur Uddin Khan of Taltola area in Dhamrai Upazila of Dhaka, according to a news agency.
