3 killed in road mishaps in 3 districts

NARAYANGANJ, Nov 1 (UNB): Three people, including two minor boys, were killed in separate road accidents in Narayanganj, Bogra and Kishoreganj districts Sunday.
In Narayanganj, a minor boy was killed in a road accident near Adamjee Sonamia bazar on Narayanganj-Siddhirganj road in Siddhirganj Thana.
The deceased was identified as Al Rabbi (4), son of Kawsar, of Kadamtoli area of the thana.
Locals said a tank lorry ran over Rabbi in the afternoon when he was crossing the road leaving him dead on the spot. The police seized the lorry.
In Bogra, a motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Dashmile in Sherpur Upazila at around 12pm.
The deceased was identified as Saiful Islam Dulal (45), son of late Abdul Zabbar of village Sondour in Shibganj Upazila.
The police said the Sherpur bound motorcycle of Saiful from Bogra collided head on with another motorbike coming from opposite direction leaving Saiful critically injured at about 2:30pm.
He was rushed to the Sherpur Upazila health complex where he succumbed to his injuries.
In Kishoreganj, another minor boy was killed in a road accident at Hossainpur Upazila at night.
The deceased was identified as Mobarak Mia (5), son of Jewel Mia of village Jinary in the Upazila.
Witnesses and the police said a three-wheeler 'Tomtom' ran over Mobarak leaving him critical injured at noon.
He was admitted to the Upazila health complex and later shifted to the Kishoreganj general hospital where he died after sometime. The police seized the vehicle.
