3 killed in Sirajganj road mishap

Three people were killed and seven others injured when a microbus hit a human hauler at Hatikumrul Golchattar on the Dhaka-Bogra highway in Solonga upazila of Sirajganj district on Friday. The deceased were identified as China, 27, daughter of Naba Bepari, Rajab Ali, 45, son of late Delwar Hossain of Borogoja village in Solonga upazila, and Rehana, 24, wife of Sajirul Islam of Kamarkhand upazila. BM Emdadul Haque, officer-in-charge of Hatikumrul highway police said the accident took place in the area around 9am when a microbus hit a human hauler as the microbus driver lost control over the steering, leaving two passengers of the human hauler dead on the spot and eight others injured. The injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared Rajab Ali dead, according to a news agency.
