3 killed in Sreemangal road accident

Three people were killed in a car accident on the Sreemangal- Moulvibazar highway in Moulvibazar district. The accident occurred around 12:30am on Friday at Sreeemangal’s Kalapur Union when a car hit a roadside tree, leaving three others injured. All the victims were passengers of the car involved in the crash. Two of the dead have been identified as Raju Shwarnkar, 30, and Sabuj Swarnakar, 28, said Sreemangal police Sub-Inspector Gias Uddin. The third person is yet to be identified. Quoting witnesses, the police officer said the car had spun out of control following a tyre burst hitting a roadside tree. Locals rushed the passengers and the driver to a nearby hospital where the three were pronounced dead, according to a news agency.
