3 killed in Sylhet road crash

At least three people were killed and 11 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a human-hauler Sylhet-Fenchuganj road at Parairchar intersection in Dakkhin Surma upazila Friday afternoon, according to a news agency.
Two of the deceased were identified as Raqib Ali, 75, and Zuhur Ali, 50, of Paschimpara Manikkona area of Fenchuganj upazila.
The injured were admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Police said the speedy bus collided head-on with the human-hauler (Laguna) near the under-construction truck stand under Moghlabazar Police Station around 1:30 pm, killing two people on the spot and injuring 12 others. One of the injured died on the way to hospital. All the deceased were the occupants of the human-hauler.
