3 killed in Tangail road accident

TANGAIL, Aug 23 (UNB): Three people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler (Tempo) at Deolabari in Ghatail upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Rawshan Ara, 30, wife of Rafiqul Islam, her daughter Meem, 7, hailing from Gangair village of Modhupur upazila, and Hedayet Ullah, 35, a resident of Dhopakandi village of Gopalpur upazila.
Locals said a bus heading for Mymensingh from Tangail collided head-on with the tempo on the Mymensingh-Tangail Highway around 5:00 pm leaving three people dead on the spot.
