3 more Koica volunteers arrive

Three new volunteers have arrived in Dhaka to render their voluntary services under the arrangement of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica). The volunteers have come to share their knowledge, skills and experiences with the aim of enhancing socioeconomic development of Bangladesh through their two-year services at various Bangladesh government organisations. The new volunteers will receive two-month local adaptation training on Bangladeshi language and its culture and customs prior to their placement in the respective work places. The three volunteers will work in the fields of Computer Education and Electronics at the Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center at Mirpur in the city; Cox’s Bazar Govt. Women College and Tulshighat Shamsul Haque Degree College, Gaibandha respectively. This brought the number of total Koica volunteer serving in Bangladesh to 46 in various fields, according to UNB.
