3 more RAB men granted seven-day remand

A court in Narayanganj Tuesday granted three more members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on a seven- day remand for quizzing in the sensational seven-murder case, reports UNB.
The three, identified as Abul Kalam Azad (38), Bazlur Rahman (45) and Nasiruddin (38), were arrested by members of RAB-11 Comilla unit Monday night from the Siddhirganj area in Narayanganj.
Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Monwara Begum passed the order when officer-in-charge of the district Detective Branch of police Mamunur Rashid, also investigation officer of the cases filed in connection with the murders, produced them before her court seeking a 10-day remand.
They were shown arrested in the case filed by Selima Islam Beauty, wife of slain Narayanganj city councillor Nazrul Islam.
