3 of a family killed in tree collapse

JHENIDAH, July 21: Three of a family were killed while another injured in a tree collapse in the town during a heavy rainfall early Saturday. Local people said Chand Ali (55), his daughters Sathi (10) and Chandni (2) died on the spot when a 'Debdaru' tree fell down on their slum near the district jail in the town at about 4:00 am. —UNB
