3 Rifles Battalion observes 62nd Raising Day

JOYPURHAT, Nov 10: 3 Rifles Battalion of BDR observed their 62nd Raising Day on Saturday at Joypurhat 3 Rifles BDR Head Quarter.
The 3 Rifles Battalion celebrate the day with a meeting and discussion where local MP Mahafuja Rahaman Rina was present as the chief guest when Colonel Saleh Ahammed, Sector Commander of Dinajpur presided over function. Ashok Kumar Bishash, Deputy Commisioner of Joypurhat, Mozammel Haque, Police Super of Joypurhat, Lt.Colonel Abdullah Al Mamun, Captain of 3Rifles Battalion, Fazlur Rahaman, Mayor of Joypurhat Paurashova spoke the function as a special guest. Among others Major Zakir Hossain, Major Mehedi Hassan of BDR camp and Major Hafiz second in command of RAB Joypurhat camp spoke the function. The BDR men, RAB, journalists, elites persons were present in the ceremony.
For an anti drug action the 3 Rifles Battalion opened a dog squad in the function. The BDR men displayed action of dog squad as to how they will identify and seize the drug and drug bearer.
